Common use of Minister’s Appointment of Chair Clause in Contracts

Minister’s Appointment of Chair. In accordance with section 2.5 of the Act, the Minister may appoint the Chair from among the Board members and for this purpose the Minister shall have regard to the views of the Board, the competency criteria used by the Board, succession planning, and any other matter the Minister considers advisable in the circumstances.
