Modification of Definition of Health Eligible Retiree. General Members who retire on or after July 1, 2009, but before April 1, 2012, and are receiving a retirement allowance from SDCERS must have twenty (20) years of Creditable Service with the City to receive one hundred percent (100%) of the Retiree Health Benefit and ten (10) years of Creditable Service with the City to receive fifty percent (50%) of the Retiree Health Benefit, as set forth in SDMC Section 24.1201(a)(5).
