More Favourable Conditions. 1. Where an issue is regulated by this Agreement and also by another international agreement involving the two Parties or by general international law, the rules which are, where appropriate, more favourable shall apply to the same Parties and their investors, 2. Where a Party, on the basis of specific laws, regulations, provisions or contracts, has adopted more favourable standards for investors of the other Party than those provided for in this Agreement, the more favourable treatment shall be accorded to such investors.
