Most. favoured‑nation treatment 1. The Parties shall grant each other most‑favoured‑nation treatment in their trade in accordance with the 1994 General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade. 2. The most‑favoured‑nation treatment provided for in paragraph 1 shall not apply to preferences granted by either Party under any arrangement pursuant to agreements establishing a customs union, a free‑trade area or an equivalent area of preferential treatment.
