Movement Within the District. For purposes of salary placement, an individual/small group instruction teacher who is subsequently hired into a BTA teaching position shall be placed on the column commensurate with his/her educational training. Individual/small group instruction teachers who have more than five (5) years of service credit shall be given additional years of credit for placement on the BTA salary schedule that equates to an hourly rate that is at least equivalent to his/her hourly rate, inclusive of professional responsibility pay and planning time.
