Common use of Moving out of the Premises Clause in Contracts

Moving out of the Premises. Subject to the provisions of clause 22 relating to ending this Contract: (a) if you move out of the Premises and you wish to terminate this Contract, then you must advise us at least 5 Business Days before you move out, and give us an address where the final bill can be sent. (b) If you advise us as described in clause 16(a) and you move out of the Premises at the time specified in your notice, then we will arrange for the Network Operator to make a final Meter reading on the day that you move out of the Premises and we will issue a final bill to you. If we are unable to do this for any reason, we will estimate in good faith your energy consumption up to and including your last day at the Premises. You are required to pay for electricity used up to the date you move out of the Premises as measured or estimated. (c) If you have demonstrated to us that you were evicted from the Premises or were otherwise required to vacate the Premises we will not require you to pay for the electricity consumed at the Premises from the date that you advise us of the following: (i) the date that you vacated or intend to vacate the Premises; and (ii) a forwarding address to which a final bill may be sent. (d) If you do not advise us as described in clause 16(a) then, subject to any applicable laws, we may require you to pay for electricity used at the Premises to a maximum of 5 days after we discover that you have moved out of the Premises. (e) If your final bill is in credit after you have paid us all amounts payable under clauses 16(b), 16(d) and 22.5 then we will repay the credited amount to you.

(e) If your final bill xxxx is in credit after you have paid us all amounts payable under clauses clause 16(b), 16(d) and 22.5 16(c)and clause 25.5 then we will repay the credited amount to you.

Moving out of the Premises. Subject to the provisions of clause 22 relating to ending this Contract: (a) if You must give us at least 5 days’ notice before you move out of the Premises and you wish premises to terminate this Contract, then you must advise us at least 5 Business Days before you move out, and give us an address where end the final bill can be sentagreement. (b) If you advise us as described in clause 16(a) and you move out of the Premises at the time specified in your notice, then we will arrange for the Network Operator to make a final Meter reading on the day that you move out of the Premises and we will issue a final bill to you. If we are unable to do this for any reason, we will estimate in good faith your energy consumption up to and including your last day at the Premises. You are required to pay for electricity used up to the date you move out of the Premises as measured or estimated. (c) If you have demonstrated to notify us that you were evicted from are vacating the Premises or were otherwise required to vacate the Premises we will not require you to pay for the electricity consumed at the Premises from the premises on a certain date that you advise and provide us of the following: (i) the date that you vacated or intend to vacate the Premises; and (ii) with a forwarding address (to which a final bill may be sent) we will: (i) not charge you for gas consumed at the premises after that date provided you give us at least 5 days’ advance notice; and (ii) arrange a final meter reading on the day you move out, arrange for disconnection (if applicable) and close your account. (c) If you give us less than 5 days’ notice then we may charge you for the supply of gas to the premises for up to 5 days after you give us notice and a forwarding address. (d) If you do not advise us as described your account is in clause 16(a) then, subject to any applicable lawscredit when it is closed, we may require will notify you that we will set off any amounts owed to pay for electricity used at the Premises to a maximum of 5 days after we discover that us and transfer any remaining credit into: (i) another account you have moved out of the Premises(or will have) with us; or (ii) a nominated bank account, within 12 business days from when you tell us, or as otherwise agreed. (e) If your final bill is in credit after you have paid us all amounts payable under clauses 16(b), 16(d) and 22.5 provide evidence that you were evicted or otherwise required to vacate the premises then we will repay may charge you for the credited amount supply of gas up to youthe date you gave us notice and a forwarding address. (f) If you do not notify us that you are vacating the premises on a certain date and provide us with a forwarding address then we may charge you for the supply of gas until a new customer is responsible for the supply of gas to the premises.
