MOWING AND EDGING. 1. Bermuda lawn areas shall be mowed generally to a height of 2”-3” commensurate with the health and overall vitality of the turf with respect to seasonality. Excessive grass clippings are to be removed from turf areas. No grass clippings or windrowing is to be visible upon completion of mowing. 2. Rotary type mowers designed for commercial use shall be used unless conditions require smaller sized equipment to be used. 3. All grassed Common Areas shall be mowed at a frequency necessary to maintain the specified height(s). 4. Mowing patterns shall be changed periodically during the growing season. 5. Contiguous to Common Areas of Wynlakes, the Company shall neatly edge along adjacent sidewalks, beds, and lakes in concert with mowing operations. Flower beds and mulch or pine straw mounds shall be edged no less than bi-weekly (every other week/twice a month). Company shall edge and trim around trees, mounds, and building structures. All shapes and configurations of plant beds shall be maintained. A clean trench line shall be provided between grass and mulch or pine straw areas.
MOWING AND EDGING. Lawn shall be mowed to a minimum height of two inches. Mowing shall be done at least every seven days during the spring and fall seasons, and as needed at other seasons. Remove and dispose of all cuttings off-site. The Contractor shall replace and/or reseed all bare spots or weak areas as necessary. The Contractor shall notify the Owner or Owner's Representative where any excessive wear is occurring due to foot traffic, vandalism or any other problem resulting in damaged turf area. Edges shall be trimmed at least twice monthly or as needed for appearance. Clipping shall either be vacuumed or blown off all areas and disposed of off site. Chemical edging by owner approval only and is discouraged. The Contractor shall maintain all irrigation heads to provide maximum coverage. All sidewalks shall be cleaned of grass cuttings, etc. on the same day as mowing.
MOWING AND EDGING. The Contractor is responsible for keeping turf grass areas in a healthy uniform standard at all times. Damaged areas, bare spots and dormant turf must be over-seeded promptly and lightly top-dressed with a mulch to retain moisture for germination. Seed and mulch varieties must be approved by the Supervisor prior to application. Post-germination spot fertilizing may be necessary over and above the regular fertilizer program. Contractor will furnish all seed, mulch and fertilizer necessary to maintain complete turf cover. The Contractor shall be responsible for mowing and edging all turf grass areas. The turf grass shall be mowed to maintain a height of no more than two (2) inches or less than ¾ inch. No more than 1/3 of inch turf height to be cut during one day’s mowing. Mowing shall normally occur once a week during the growing season to maintain the proper height. In the event that a scheduled mowing is missed due to inclement weather or other unavoidable situation, the Supervisor may require the Contractor to mow twice in one week. This request will be made at the discretion of the Supervisor based on plant health requirements. All turf grass shall be edged along sidewalks, paved and hard surface areas as necessary to prevent an overgrowth. Edging shall not be done by chemical methods, unless an approved growth retardant is utilized. The Contractor shall be required to pick up and dispose of grass clippings after each mowing operation at all locations. Sidewalks and street areas are to be cleaned free of clippings after each mowing.
MOWING AND EDGING. Mowing and edging shall include medians as well as those areas, if existing, along the outside edge of the sidewalks of adjacent properties. All turf shall be mowed with mulching type mower equipment to eliminate the need to bag and transport grass clippings. Should bagging be necessary, the bagged clippings shall be collected and removed at no additional cost. Grass shall be cut at a height of three and one half inches (3 ½”). The frequency of cutting will be weekly or fifty-two (52) times. Mechanical edging of the turf shall be done with each mowing along all sidewalk edges, back of concrete curbs, around all planting beds, utility service boxes, street light bases, sign posts, headwalls, guardrails, timer pedestals, posts, and trees. Metal blade edging is not permitted along back of curbing. Grass root runners extending into the mulched areas shall be cut and removed when the edging is performed. Edging will also be required in all turf areas around isolated trees, sprinkler heads, valve boxes, shrubs, sign posts, manholes, etc. where they exist. All debris on streets, sidewalks or other areas resulting from edging shall be removed. No herbicide shall be used for edging. All sidewalks, curbing and/or gutters shall be cleaned after each service. All sidewalks shall be blown clean, but no clippings or other debris shall be blown or allowed to be deposited on other adjacent property or accumulate on right-of-way areas.
MOWING AND EDGING. HOA property shall be mowed one (1) time every seven (7) days during the active growing season (March 1 – October 31) and as needed during the dormant seasons (November 1 to February 28) unless specifically noted elsewhere in this scope of work. Mowing that occurs during the active growing season must be done on the same day(s) of each week. If Contractor is unable to complete the mowing on the designated day of the week, the Contractor must notify Manager of said complication and provide the day in which the mowing will be made up. During extended rainy or dry periods, mowing will take place as conditions dictate. Clippings shall not be caught and removed from lawn area unless they are lying in swaths, which may damage the lawn. Mowing height will be based on what is horticultural correct for the turf variety as recommended by the University of Florida and considering the season: • Saint Augustine Floritam 4” • Bahia 3-5”. • Zoysia 2-3” • Bermuda - Should be cut 2 times per week during the active growing season using a reel mower in place of a rotary mower and Contractor should mix in vertical mowing and core aerations to the turf as needed.
MOWING AND EDGING. Contractor will inspect all turf areas for litter and debris and dispose of it prior to each mowing. Contractor will be responsible for the cleanup of shredded litter or debris created by mower. Turf will be mowed once a week during growing season between the hours 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p. m. Missed mowing days during growing season will be made up that same week. During non- growing season, mowing will be done on an as-needed basis to be determined by CRPD staff. Bermuda sites may receive monthly mowing in the dormant season if the District Parks Superintendent specifies. Always maintain a neat and manicured appearance. Turf grass will be mowed to maintain a height of two inches on fescue sites, and one inch on Bermuda/Warm Season sites (see Exhibit C for sites). Mowing will not take place when soil moisture levels are excessive due to potential damage of turf. Any excess clipping will be collected and disposed of to prevent damage and unsightly appearance of lawns. Mowing equipment is to be maintained at the highest level in order to prevent injury to the public, property, or operator. Blades are to be kept sufficiently sharp and properly adjusted to prevent turf blade bruising, tearing, shredding, or scalping. Mowing equipment is to be used in a safe manner to neither damage turf nor cause injury to public, CRPD employees, or operator. During CRPD ball field refurbishment period one time per year (for approximately 6-8 weeks), and after fertilization, turf will be mowed on an as-needed basis to be determined by CRPD staff. Turf area adjacent to all hardscape edges such as sidewalks, curb lines, concrete slabs, and bed edges will be edged with a mechanical edger weekly from April through October and bi- weekly November through March to maintain a neat and fresh appearance. Edge along sidewalks should be in a neat and uniform line, in a manner that results in a well-defined, V- shape edge that extends into the soil. Such edging should be done with a power edger with a rigid blade or straight line trimmers with a proper guide to facilitate neat straight edging; freehand line trimming will not meet this requirement. String trimming will be performed weekly around trees, shrubs, signs, posts, poles, fence lines, backstops, valve boxes, and quick coupler boxes. MOWING AND EDGING. Lawn mowing and edging shall be performed as needed to meet the City landscape standards. When lawns cannot be cut on the scheduled day due to rain, they must be cut as soon as weather and ground conditions permit. This trimming shall include cutting all grass along walls, fences, foundations, curbs, sidewalks, shrubs, tree basins, poles, guy wires, irrigation & utility boxes, and any other object within or immediately adjacent to the lawn areas. Turf and plantings around sprinkler heads shall be trimmed to provide maximum water coverage. Trimming shall be done by power edgers or by hand, but in no case will herbicides or “chemical edging” be permitted without prior written approval. Clippings shall be removed from all adjacent walkways and other paved surfaces immediately after each mowing/edging. Seed heads on no-mow turf shall be removed on an annual basis. No-mow turf shall be edged as needed to keep from encroaching on walls, fences, sidewalks, etc.

  • Monitoring and Compliance Every year during the term of this Agreement on the anniversary date of the effective date of the Agreement, the Restaurant shall provide to the United States a narrative report of the actions taken during the reporting period to remove any barriers to access and otherwise enhance accessibility for individuals with disabilities at the Restaurant and any plans for action concerning ADA compliance in the coming year. The report shall include as an exhibit copies of any complaint, whether formal or informal, received during the reporting period alleging that the Restaurant was not being operated in compliance with the ADA or otherwise discriminated against any person on account of disability. The Owner and Operator of the Restaurant shall cooperate in good faith with any and all reasonable requests by the United States for access to the Restaurant and for information and documents concerning the Restaurant's compliance with this Agreement and the ADA. The United States shall have the right to verify compliance with this Agreement and the ADA, both as set forth in this Agreement and through any means available to the general public, including visits to the public areas of the Restaurant and communications with Restaurant staff. The United States shall have the right to inspect the facility at any time, and counsel for the United States need not identify themselves in the course of visits to the public areas.
