Common use of National Board Certification or Doctorate Degree Clause in Contracts

National Board Certification or Doctorate Degree. An employee who holds national board certification or a doctorate degree granted by an accredited college or university shall receive a one-time stipend of $1,000. This stipend shall be issued one time only during the employee’s career in the District. If the employee is less than full-time, the stipend shall be prorated based on the ratio of the employee’s workweek to the normal full-time workweek. For the life of this agreement, this stipend will be paid to employees holding the following national board certification: 1.
