National Civil Police authorities. 1. The National Civil Police shall be under the control of civilian authorities (art. 168, para. 17, of the Constitution). These shall be: the President of the Republic, the Minister, the Vice-Minister, the Director-General of Police, the Deputy Directors-General, the Inspector General, the division chiefs of each service and the chiefs of departmental delegations.
