NATIONAL GRIEVANCE AND ARBITRATION PROCEDURE. Section 1. Definition A “national grievance” is defined as any complaint or dispute arising under and during the term of this National Teamsters Addendum raised by the employee or Union against the Employer, or by the Employer against the Union, involving an alleged violation, misinterpretation or misapplication of a provision of this National Teamsters Addendum. All such disputes shall be adjusted and settled solely and exclusively in accordance with the procedures set forth in this Article (unless a specific Article in the National Teamsters Addendum contains its own dispute resolution mechanism).
