NATIONAL GRIEVANCE AND ARBITRATION PROCEDURE. Section 1. Definition A “national grievance” is defined as any complaint or dispute arising under and during the term of this National Addendum raised by the employee or Union against the Employer, or by the Employer against the Union, involving an alleged violation, misinterpretation or misapplication of a provision of this National Addendum. All such disputes shall be adjusted and settled solely and exclusively in accordance with the procedures set forth in this Article (unless a specific Article in the National Addendum contains its own dispute resolution mechanism).
