Common use of Negation of Agency Clause in Contracts

Negation of Agency. Nothing herein contained shall be deemed to create an agency, joint venture, amalgamation, partnership, or similar relationship between Licensee and Licensor. The relationship between the parties established by this Agreement is that of independent contractors. Neither party shall have the power to bind, obligate, incur any debts or make any commitments for the other party except to the extent, if at all, specifically provided herein.
