Negotiations on School Time. If negotiations are conducted during the regular teacher workday, leave of absence without loss of pay or accumulated leave shall be granted to up to twelve (12) members of the Union bargaining team. If substitute teachers are needed to provide for the above leave, the actual cost of the substitutes during such leave shall be borne by the Union. If other activities directly related to this Agreement and mandated by law or this Agreement are conducted during the regular teacher workday, leave of absence sufficient to conduct such necessary activities shall be granted to the affected teachers without loss of pay or accumulated leave.
