Common use of New Facility Inspections Clause in Contracts

New Facility Inspections. Any Health and Safety concerns which may arise as a direct result of a major construction activity, or the installation of any new equipment, will be discussed between the Chief Area Health and Safety Representative and the Manager of the department in which the activity is taking place. If required, the Chief Health and Safety Representative and the Manager will tour the construction area, or inspect the new equipment. It is understood that this provision will only apply after the assignment of Lake Erie Works Bargaining Unit employees to the new facility.
