Night Activities - Elementary. Elementary teachers (K-5) will not be required to attend more than three (3) night activities per year exclusive of scheduled parent-teacher conferences. If additional night activities are required by building principals, the negotiated hourly rate shall be paid for the time at school. Employees may request compensatory time (comp time) in lieu of monetary compensation, but must have administrative approval. No elementary teacher will be required to attend more than one (1) meeting called by the principal per week (to start at 8:05 a.m. or later) prior to the start of the student day. Exceptions: IEPC’s, Section 504, at risk conferences or student emergencies.
