Leave for Union Activities. Upon written request by the Union, the Company will release, without loss of pay or other benefits, up to three (3) employees named by the Union to attend grievance meetings, three (3) employees for negotiation meetings and up to three (3) employees named by the Union, for up to one (1) working day, for the purpose of negotiation meetings. Leave without pay will be granted to any employee duly authorized to represent employees in order to:

Leave for Union Activities. SECTION A: Eligibility Officers of the Union and Union members who are listed as official delegates or participants in the formal program of a function or convention, and Union officers or members who are authorized to represent the Union at Union programs, conventions, and legislative meetings (pursuant to Chapter 174, Laws of Washington, Extraordinary Session 1969, amending Chapter 41.56 RCW) may be granted leave to attend the meetings and conferences subject to the procedure set forth in Section B below.
