Common use of Night Logging Clause in Contracts

Night Logging. This Section only applies to employees who are called for work on night logging. (i) In the event that an employee commences work on his shift and the operation closes prior to the completion of four (4) hours' work, the employee shall receive six (6) hours' pay. (ii) In the event that an employee commences work on his shift and the operation closes after the completion of four (4) hours' work, the employee shall receive two (2) hours' pay in addition to pay for the time he actually worked. The maximum amount of total pay an employee can receive for his shift under this clause is eight (8) hours' pay.
