No Assumption or Substitution Required. In the event that the Company or any of its Affiliates is a participant in a corporate merger, consolidation or other similar transaction, neither the Company nor such Affiliate shall be obligated to cause any other participant in such transaction to assume a Participant’s Option or to substitute a new stock option for the Option under this Agreement.
