Common use of NO BREAK IN SERVICE FOR TAKING A LEAVE Clause in Contracts

NO BREAK IN SERVICE FOR TAKING A LEAVE. Absence under paid leave shall not be considered a break in service and all benefits accruing under the provisions of this Agreement shall continue to accrue under such absence. An unpaid leave shall not be considered a break in service (for seniority purposes) but the individual shall not accrue other benefits provided under the provisions of this contract during the period of the leave.
