Common use of No Strike Commitment Clause in Contracts

No Strike Commitment. Neither the Bargaining unit nor any officer, agents or employees will call, institute, authorize, participate in, sanction, encourage, or ratify any strike, sympathy strike, no picketing, secondary boycotts, work stoppage, slow down, sit down or other concerted stoppage of work, or other concerted refusal to perform duties by any officer or officer group, or the concerted interference with, in whole or in part, the full, faithful and proper performance of the duties of employment with the City, regardless of the reason for doing so. Neither the Bargaining unit nor any officer shall refuse to cross any picket line, by whomever established. Each employee who holds the position of officer of special trust and responsibility in maintaining and bringing about compliance with the provisions of this Article.
