NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING. 29.02 Where the member Company is responsible for and has control over non-destructive testing and sublets such work on a construction project, this work shall be performed by a contractor in agreement with the Boilermaker Union or the Quality Control Council of Canada.
NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING. For on-site work where the Employer is responsible for non- destructive testing and performs such work, this work shall be performed in accordance with an agreement acceptable to the Union.
NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING. To the extent applicable, the scope and performance of any inspection by Seller as all or part of the Services utilizing Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Magnetic Rubber Testing (MRI) and/or Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), and the preparation of the report derived therefrom, are limited to the detection of exposed surface flaws no less than 150 nanometers in diameter. MT, MRI, and PT are highly sensitive to external conditions and to the characteristics of the inspected material, component, or assembly and Contaminations on inspected surfaces may mask actual defects. As such, notwithstanding the performance of any such inspection by Seller and regardless of any representation made to the contrary, including the inspection report prepared by Seller, latent, sub-surface, and/or covered surface flaws may exist on the subject material on the date of inspection, and Buyer is hereby notified of the potential existence thereof.
NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING. Comprising those employees engaged in routine non-destructive testing of structures, systems, components, parts and materials by Eddy Current (ET), Liquid Penetrant (PT), Magnetic Particle (MT), Radiography (RT), Thermographic (TH) and Ultrasonics (UT) testing and the routine maintenance of associated test equipment, laboratory equipment and facilities. Personnel in this category will also be required to assist in associated development work.
NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING. When the Employer is responsible for non-destructive testing, this work shall be performed by an Employer in agreement with the Quality Control Council of Canada.
NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING. 10.1 For on-site work where the Employer is responsible for and has control over non destructive testing or sublets such work, this work shall be performed in accordance with an agreement to the Union, or under the Quality Control Council of Canada Agreement.
NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING. (NDT) The non-destructive testing practices are based on ASTM standards and ASNT recommended practices as deemed appropriate for the manufacture of the equipment. NDT personnel training is guided by SNT-TC-1A and the necessary process specifications are in place to direct NDT activities including: - Radiographic (X-Ray) - Liquid Penetrant (Red Dye) - Fluorescent Penetrant (i.e. Zyglo) - Ultrasonic - Eddy Current - Magnetic Particle - Bore Etch and Spin - Hydrostatic Testing - Kerosene and Xxxxxxx - Red and Blue Surface Contact
NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING. (NDT). NDT includes, but is not limited to radiography, ultrasonic testing/inspection, eddy current, magnetic particle inspection, liquid penetrant inspection, etc.
NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING. 14.1 Data Collection/Use for Load Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) casing design.
14.2 Expertise in ISO requirements for Global Standardization.
NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING. All welds within the structure, shall be visually inspected for conformance to size, under cut, profile and finish. All shop splices of main truss members shall be magnetic particle tested.
