Non-Maternity Related Parenthood Leave. i) The length of this leave shall be ten (10) months. The length of this leave shall, upon request, be extended for one (1) additional school year only. Such request for extension must be received by March 15 of the first year of leave. ii) Unless otherwise approved by the Board, the date of leaving shall be September 1. iii) The date of return shall be September 1.
