Non-Service Connected Unpaid Court Appearance. A leave without pay shall be granted for an appearance before a court, legislative committee, judicial or quasi-judicial body as a witness in response to a subpoena, or other order by proper authority compelling the employee’s attendance under penalty prescribed by law not connected with the employee’s officially assigned duties.
