Common use of Nondiscrimination in Contracting Clause in Contracts

Nondiscrimination in Contracting. The Lessor shall not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, religion, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, or disability in the solicitation, selection, hiring or treatment of Subcontractors, Contractors or suppliers. The Lessor shall provide equal opportunity for Subcontractors to participate in sub contracting opportunities. The Lessor understands and agrees that violation of this clause shall be considered a material breach of this Agreement and may result in contract termination, debarment, and other sanctions. This language shall be in contracts between the Lessor and any Subcontractors, Lessors and suppliers.
