Common use of Nonrepairable Items Clause in Contracts

Nonrepairable Items. Buyer may scrap any defective nonrepairable item having a then-current Boeing spare part selling price of $2,000 or less and make a claim for a replacement item. For a defective nonrepairable item having a then-current Boeing spare part selling price greater than $2,000, an authorized Boeing representative must confirm the nonrepairability of any such item. Buyer's claim for an item with a spare part selling price exceeding $2,000 must include such confirmation.
