Notice of Corrective Action. DISCIPLINE AND DISCHARGE β A written notice of any corrective/disciplinary action shall be given to the employee. Verbal warnings shall be confirmed in writing. A copy of any suspension or discharge notice shall be sent to the Union, and copies of verbal or written warnings shall be furnished to the Union upon request. The Union may file a grievance relating to such corrective/disciplinary action. Such grievance must be filed consistent with the Grievance and Arbitration Procedure, except that a suspension or discharge may be initiated at Step 2.
