Common use of Notice of Possible Formal Discipline Clause in Contracts

Notice of Possible Formal Discipline. At the option of the County, the County may propose a Notice of Possible Formal Discipline to resolve a disciplinary matter by mutual agreement in lieu of the pre-disciplinary “Xxxxxxxxxx” meeting described in subparagraph (b). The Notice of Possible Discipline may be offered with or without an investigatory interview. A Notice of Possible Discipline will describe the facts, alleged misconduct and proposed discipline. The employee may either accept or reject the proposed discipline. If the proposed discipline is accepted, discipline will be imposed in accordance with the notice. If the proposed discipline is rejected, the County may proceed to give written notice of a disciplinary “Xxxxxxxxxx” meeting as described in subparagraph (b).
