Notice Periods for Fixed Term Contracts. 51.1.1 The University shall provide a fixed term general staff member, other than a staff member engaged as a replacement staff member or on a pre-retirement contract, written notice of the University’s intention to renew, or not to renew, employment upon the expiry of the contract. Such notice shall be prior to the specified end date of the contract and in accordance with the table in sub-clause 51.2.1 below.
