Notice/Severance. An employee who is terminated during the probationary period shall be given no less than two (2) weeks’ notice in writing, unless, because of gross misconduct, the decision is made to terminate his/her employment in a shorter period of time, in which case the employee shall only be paid for the days until his/her termination.
