Notification and Reporting of Release Time. The union xxxxxxx must obtain approval from their supervisor before attending any meeting or hearing during their work hours. Such requests will not be unreasonably denied. All requests must include the approximate amount of time the xxxxxxx expects the activity to take. Any Employer business requiring the union xxxxxxx’x immediate attention will be completed prior to attending the meeting or hearing. Union stewards must submit a union paid release leave request to record the time and will suffer no loss in pay for attending management scheduled meetings and hearings that are scheduled during the union xxxxxxx’x work time.
