Notification Bonus. Employees who intend to resign or retire effective at the end of the school year and who submit their written resignation to the Superintendent or designee on or before December 1st shall receive a one thousand five hundred dollar ($1,500.00) severance payment in addition to any severance benefits prescribed in paragraphs 1 through 6 above. This payment will be made within thirty (30) days after the effective date of the employee’s resignation or retirement.
