NOTIFICATION OF STATE. The Grantee shall promptly notify the State, in writing, of the following items: A. Events or proposed changes that could affect the scope, budget, or work performed under this Grant Agreement. The Grantee agrees that no substantial change in the scope of a project will be undertaken until written notice of the proposed change has been provided to the State and the State has given written approval for such change. Substantial changes generally include changes to the scope of work, schedule or term, and budget. B. Any public or media event publicizing the accomplishments and/or results of this Grant Agreement and provide the opportunity for attendance and participation by the State’s representatives. The Grantee shall make such notification at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the event. C. Discovery of any potential archaeological or historical resource. The initiation of any litigation or the threat of litigation against the Grantee or an LPS regarding the Project or which may affect the Project in any way. E. Applicable to construction projects only: Final inspection of the completed work on a project by a Registered Professional (Civil Engineer, Engineering Geologist, or other State approved certified/licensed Professional), in accordance with Exhibit D. The Grantee shall notify the State’s Project Manager of the inspection date at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the inspection in order to provide the State the opportunity to participate in the inspection.
