Construction Implementation. The Scope of Work required includes all labor, materials, equipment and services for marine construction required as described in Scope of Services, Section II of the Request for Proposal, including permitting and compliance with all state and local codes.
Construction Implementation. The District shall compensate CFW the contract fee of two and one-half percent (2.50%) of the Project Costs, as defined below, and identified in Exhibit B, (hereinafter, the “Contract Price”) for each Project for the Scope of Work identified in Exhibit A, Section B. Project Costs shall be defined as all costs, fees, and expenses to be paid by the District to complete the acquisition, design and/or construction of each Project identified in Exhibit B that are implemented during the term of this Contract. Project Costs shall include but not be limited to the costs, fees and expenses related to the acquisition, planning, design, bidding, management and construction of each Project. Project Schedule shall be defined as the duration of time identified in Exhibit B to complete each Project. Project Costs and Project Schedule shall be initially estimated, subject to review and update every six months or upon completion of the project, whichever occurs first, to reflect actual costs incurred, and anticipated to be incurred by the District in order to complete the Project. The monthly payments to CFW shall be calculated as follows: (1) the total Project Costs, as defined herein, shall be multiplied by 2.50% (the “Construction Implementation Fee”); (2) this amount shall then be divided by the scheduled duration of the Project as identified in the Project Schedule in Exhibit B. This shall establish the “Average Monthly Fee”. CFW shall be paid the Average Monthly Fee each month for the duration of each Project under management up to the maximum fee which is equal to the Contract Price. CFW shall submit monthly invoices consistent with the formula described above.

PROJECT 10: SOUTH GARDENA RECYCLED WATER PIPELINE PROJECT PROJECT SPONSOR: West Basin Municipal Water District PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Project will construct 1.25 miles of recycled water pipeline to serve 120 AFY of non-potable water for irrigation at Gardena High School, South Garden Park, Roosevelt Memorial Park Association, and C Stars Nursery. Task 4.1: Construction Contracting Same as Task 4.1 in the Flood Damage Reduction Project. 12 Since it is anticipated that the approach to environmental review will be a combined CEQA/NEPA document covering the whole Phoenix Lake IRWM Retrofit, Task 3.3, Environmental Documentation is the same for all five component projects of the Retrofit. The cost for Task 3.3 has been split according to each projects pro-rata construction cost, as reflected in the Budget.

Construction Implementation. The Cash for Grass Program provides a fifty-cent ($0.50) per square foot rebate to customers who convert irrigated turf to desert plants. Residential customers can remove up to 6,000 square feet of turf to receive a maximum $3,000 rebate; CII customers can remove up to 20,000 square feet to receive a maximum $10,000 rebate. The $2 million Proposition 84 Grant award will provide direct customer rebates for 4 million square feet of turf removal.
