Common use of NOTIFICATION OF STATE Clause in Contracts

NOTIFICATION OF STATE. Grantee shall promptly notify State, in writing, of the following items: a) Events or proposed changes that could affect the Work Plan, Budget, Schedule, or work performed under this Grant Agreement. Grantee agrees that no substantial change in the scope of the Project will be undertaken until written notice of the proposed change has been provided to State and State has given written approval for such change. Substantial changes generally include changes to the wording/scope of work, schedule or term, and budget. b) Any public or media event publicizing the accomplishments and/or results of this Grant Agreement and provide the opportunity for attendance and participation by State’s representatives. Grantee shall make such notification at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the event.
