Common use of NOTIFICATION OF STATE Clause in Contracts

NOTIFICATION OF STATE. Grantee shall promptly notify State, in writing, of the following items: a) Events or proposed changes that could affect the scope, budget, or work performed under this Grant Agreement. Grantee agrees that no change in the scope of a project will be undertaken until written notice of the proposed change has been provided to State and State has given written approval for such change. b) Any public or media event publicizing the accomplishments and/or results of this Grant Agreement and provide the opportunity for attendance and participation by State’s representatives. Grantee shall make such notification at least 14 calendar days prior to the event. c) Final inspection of the completed work on a project by a California Registered Professional (Civil Engineer or Geologist, as appropriate), in accordance with Standard Condition D.19 in Exhibit D. Grantee shall notify the State’s Project Manager of the inspection date at least 14 calendar days prior to the inspection in order to provide State the opportunity to participate in the inspection.
