Notification Procedure. The Association and affected bargaining unit member(s) will be notified of a potential need for a reduction in force on or before the end of April 1. Following this notification, the administration, the affected member(s), the Association President and/or Vice President, will meet to discuss the reasons for the anticipated reduction and, where applicable, will discuss any enrollment concerns, and strategize on ways to market the program and increase enrollment and any other relevant issues. If the student enrollment in the affected subject area or program offering does not significantly improve, the reduction procedures under Section 12.3 will be implemented.
