NOTIFICATION TO CALL-IN SICK. ‌ Evening and night shift employees shall notify the Employer at least six (6) hours in advance of the employee’s scheduled shift if the employee is unable to report for duty as scheduled. Day shift employees shall notify the Employer at least two (2) hours in advance of the employee’s scheduled shift if the employee is unable to report for duty as scheduled. In the event of a documented emergency, the need of notification may be waived by the Employer. Failure to do so may, at the Employer’s discretion, result in loss of paid sick leave for that day.
