Notification to Employees with Permanent Status. ‌ A. Except for temporary reduction in work hours and temporary layoffs as provided in Section 31.6, employees with permanent status will receive written notice at least fifteen (15) calendar days before the effective layoff date. The notice will include the basis for the layoff and any options available to the employee. The Association will be provided with a copy of the notice at the same time the employee is notified.
