Number of USG funded events, trainings, or activities designed to build support for peace or reconciliation on a mass scale. Timeliness: Ongoing basis, with quarterly reports produced based on data. The Museum accomplished 100% of the projected number of events and activities that it committed to hold during the first year of the NVP program. In some instances we exceeded the number of planned sessions, as was the case with the staff training sessions. School-based recruitment sessions – We conducted 12 recruitment sessions in the six participating schools, according to plan, and recruited 150 Jewish and Arab students to join the progra. Joint youth sessions at the Museum – Planned for 18 sessions, of which 6 were school hosting days. In actuality we conducted 15 sessions (3 more than the planned 12 sessions) and three of the hosting sessions were scheduled for the second year due to calendar constraints. Starting April 2016, all attendees signed the time sheet along with a signed summary of the session. Parents’ sessions –we held 4 of the planned 6 sessions with two that got rescheduled for the second year of the program due to no convenient dates. The schools were apprehensive about low participation rates among the parents and indeed we see mid-level turnout to our sessions and working to improve it. Facilitators Training – we conducted 10 sessions exceeding the planned 6 training sessions for eh first year. Each session is 7 hours long and the majority of the staff attend the sessions. In addition, we added brief meetings before and after each session with the youth to prepare and process the sessions in an effective manner. All facilitators and staff persons signed the attendance sheets with the data collected and guarded by the co-Coordinators.
