Objections to Enforcement Notices. A person who is served with an Enforcement Notice may serve on the Secretary of State a notice in writing of his objection to the Enforcement Notice. Key principles DfT responsibilities  Send a copy of the objection notice to the CAA;  Allow the person making the objection and the CAA an opportunity to make written or oral representations to the Secretary of State or a person appointed by the Secretary of State to determine the objection;  Consider the objection, taking into account the representations received;  Confirm, vary or revoke the Enforcement Notice as appropriate;  Send decision notice to the person who made the objection and to the CAA.   • ADDITIONAL ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS Upon a determination by the Director that there is a threat to the public health or the environment, or upon discovery of any new information, RIDEM reserves the right to take additional enforcement actions as provided by law or regulation, including, but not limited to, the issuance of “Immediate Compliance Orders” as authorized by R.I. Gen. Laws Section 42-17.1- 2(21). This Agreement shall not restrict any right to hearing or other right available by statute or regulation that the Respondents may have regarding any new enforcement action commenced by RIDEM after the execution of this Agreement.

  • GOVERNING LAW & ENFORCEMENT The terms of this Settlement Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California and apply within the State of California. For purposes of this Settlement Agreement only, the Settling Entity stipulates that the Superior Court of California shall have personal jurisdiction over it for the limited and sole purpose of an action to enforce the terms of this Settlement Agreement, brought without joinder of other claims.   • Enforcement and Rights and Remedies on Default 5.1 The Developer agrees that any officer appointed by the Municipality to enforce this Agreement shall be granted access onto the Lands during all reasonable hours without obtaining consent of the Developer. The Developer further agrees that, upon receiving written notification from an officer of the Municipality to inspect the interior of any building located on the Lands, the Developer agrees to allow for such an inspection during any reasonable hour within two (2) business days of receiving such a request.

  • Law Enforcement Emergencies If a Party receives a request from a law enforcement agency to implement at its switch a temporary number change, temporary disconnect, or one-way denial of outbound calls for an end user of the other Party, the receiving Party will comply so long as it is a valid emergency request. Neither Party will be held liable for any claims or damages arising from compliance with such requests, and the Party serving the end user agrees to indemnify and hold the other Party harmless against any and all such claims.

  • Enforcement and Remedies Executive acknowledges that money damages would not be sufficient remedy for any breach of this Article 6 by Executive, and Company shall be entitled to enforce the provisions of this Article 6 by terminating any payments then owing to Executive under this Agreement and/or to specific performance and injunctive relief as remedies for such breach or any threatened breach.
