Common use of Obligations relating to the Clause in Contracts

Obligations relating to the. employment of foreign personnel The Concessionaire acknowledges, agrees and undertakes that employment of foreign personnel by the Concessionaire and/or its Contractors and their sub-contractors shall be in accordance with Applicable Laws and subject to grant of Applicable Permits, including employment or residential visas and work permits. The Concessionaire shall obtain such Applicable Permits at its own cost and expense. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this Agreement, refusal of or inability to obtain any such permit or approval by the Concessionaire or any of its Contractors or sub-contractors shall not constitute a Force Majeure Event, or allow any extension of time to the Concessionaire for performance of its obligations under this Agreement and shall not in any manner excuse the Concessionaire from the performance and discharge of its obligations and liabilities under this Agreement.
