Observation Frequency for Teachers. All teachers shall be evaluation based on the components of the Full Formal Evaluation Cycle unless they qualify for a Less-Frequent Cycle as set forth below. The formal evaluation cycle for teachers shall consist of: a professional growth/improvement plan, a pre-observation conference, a formal holistic observation, a post-conference, classroom walkthroughs, a formal focused observation(s), and a final summative conference. The Less Frequent Evaluation Cycle consists of a professional growth plan, One observation, One Conference with Discussion of Progress on PGP.
1. Limited Contract Teachers (One through Four Years in District.) Teachers in years one (1) through four (4) in the District shall receive three (3) observations per evaluation cycle. The teacher may request additional observations.
