Occupancy Dates. 1) Residence halls typically open in August the week before classes begin and close on the last day of finals for each semester.
Occupancy Dates. Unless otherwise expressly agreed to in writing by the Landlord or unless terminated earlier in accordance with the terms of this Lease Agreement, the Term of this Lease Agreement (the “Term”) shall be as follows:
a. beginning with the start date stated in the Confirmation Letter provided to the Tenant; and
b. is for a fixed Term tenancy ending at 12:00 noon on 31st day of July, 2020 (the “Termination Date”). If the Tenant wishes to remain in the Premises for an additional period beyond the Termination Date, the Tenant must agree to a new Lease Agreement by the 16th day of April, 2020. Failure by the Tenant to execute a new Lease Agreement by 16th day of April, 2020, will serve as confirmation that the Tenant will vacate the Premises by no later than the Termination Date. Any final decision on whether a Tenant may execute a new Lease Agreement and remain in the Premises will be made by the Landlord, in its sole and absolute discretion. The Tenant understands that the maximum Term permissible for the Premises is equivalent to four (4) full years unless explicitly agreed to otherwise by the Landlord in writing at the Landlord’s sole and absolute discretion.

a. beginning with the start date stated in the Confirmation Letter provided to the Tenant and continuing on a month to month (periodical) basis.
Occupancy Dates. Undergraduate students may occupy the Residential Accommodation on the day the Residence Halls open for the Fall semester. You must take occupancy by the date stated above or notify the Office of Residence Life of your intention to arrive after that date; if you fail to take occupancy or notify the Office of Residence Life in writing of a late arrival you may forfeit the Residential Accommodation assignment, with no guarantee that a replacement Residential Accommodation will be available and without releasing you from the obligation to pay full Room and Board charges. All undergraduate students must vacate the Residential Accommodation by noon on the day following the end of the Fall Semester Final Examinations period and may return on the day the Residence Halls reopen for the Spring semester, unless you have obtained permission from the Office of Residence Life to remain in residency over the winter break for an academic-related obligation requiring you to work as provided in the Residence Life procedures. Any student returning to a Residential Accommodation during the winter break without authorization may be charged a fee as provided in the Residence Life procedures. You must vacate the Housing Accommodation and remove all of your belongings by 3pm the day following the end of the Final Examination period of the Spring semester, unless you are a graduating senior in which case you must vacate and remove all of your belongings by noon of the day following Commencement. If you are withdrawing at the end of the Fall semester you must vacate the Residential Accommodation and remove all of your belongings no later than noon of the day after the Fall Semester Final Examination period ends. If you withdraw (or are withdrawn or suspended) from the University during a semester you will be required to vacate the Residential Accommodation no later than 5 p.m. on the third day after the withdrawal is effective, unless a shorter period is specified by the University.
Occupancy Dates a. Specific check in and check out dates will be included with your notice of contract acceptance and room assignment.
b. Students may make requests to check into their assigned room before the dates below or check out after the dates below as availability allows. Change requests must be made in writing before your contract binding date. You will be charged the daily room rate for any additional nights in the residence hall. Early check-in requests will be honored as space is available.
c. Spring to Summer Interim (Spring 2019 residents only)
i. Students currently living with UH&D will remain in their spring rooms until they are notified that their summer room is ready to be occupied.
ii. Students are responsible for transporting their own belongings.
iii. All students must be moved out and formally checked out of their spring room on Tuesday, May 14, 2019.
Occupancy Dates. Residents are expected to take occupancy of their assigned rooms by the first day of classes. Unless official notification of a variation is received, the Landlord reserves the rights to reassign spaces not claimed by that time and charge/forfeit the prepayment.
Occupancy Dates. Specific information regarding occupancy dates will be communicated to You prior to the beginning of the term.

ii. East and West Campus Apartments typically open the week before classes start and close the last day of spring finals. Exception: Special condition apartments in WCA that have a later move-in date than the remainder of WCA. Students in special condition apartments are notified of restriction at the time room assignment is made.
iii. Xxxxxxxxx Gateway Apartments open the week before classes and close on May 31. Dates of summer occupancy are June 1 to July 31. Any student not enrolled in spring classes must vacate by the last day of finals for fall semester. Graduating seniors must vacate no later than the next business day after fall graduation.
