(a) All probationary employees will be laid-off first on all three shifts. On the renewal of the Collective Agree- mentbargainingunit, weekend all students, temporary, probation- ary, co-op students, contract employees and the Company will agree in writing which jobs the weekend employees have demonstrated the skills individuals employed on government sponsored programs shall be laid off first, provided there are regular full time employ- ees with sufficient skill and ability to perform the work being performed by the above individuals. The Attendance Counsellor shall be entitled to, up to one week of additional vacation in lieu of authorized overtime pay. Time spent traveling between work locations during the work day will be considered time worked. OFF AND RECALL. Due The Employer shall give a minimum of ninety days notice to the irregular Employee and sporadic nature the Association prior to lay-off of an employee; in the event of such lay-off the employee having the least seniority being laid off first provided, that in no circumstances shall the result jeopardize the effective operation of the Weekend work arrangementDepartment.
