OFFER OF APPOINTMENT TO THE DISTRICT. 1. An applicant for appointment shall be entitled to rely on a representation of the Superintendent, an Assistant Superintendent, Director of Instruction, Secretary- Treasurer or Administrative Officer that an offer of any appointment has been made, or that an appointment has been made, or with respect to the terms of such offer or appointment. 2. The Employer shall confirm an offer of appointment to the district in writing as soon as practicable. 3. An offer of appointment to the District shall be deemed to be accepted when the acceptance of the offer has been received in writing by the Employer within forty-eight (48) hours of the offer of employment, or as soon as practicable.
