(Applies to SB1, SC1, and SD1 only) A unit member shall be granted on-the-job injury/illness leave when the unit member is unable to work because of any on-the-job injury/illness as defined in the California Labor Code (Workers’ Compensation Act). on-the- job injury/illness leave shall be directly linked to a unit member’s eligibility for temporary disability (TD) benefits in accordance with the California Labor Code.
