Common use of One-Half of an Experience Increment Clause in Contracts

One-Half of an Experience Increment. An employee who has not completed the minimum of eight (8) full-time equivalent months of employment worked and who: a) has completed a minimum of five (5) full-time equivalent months of employment worked in a school year; or b) has completed a combined minimum of five (5) full-time equivalent months of employment worked on either side of an authorized period of leave shall be entitled to one-half of an experience increment on their anniversary date.
