Common use of One-Year Contracts Clause in Contracts

One-Year Contracts. A. A new teacher in the district shall receive a one-year limited contract. B. At the expiration of the one (1) year limited contract, a teacher may receive another one (1) year limited contract following a fair and just supervisory and/or administrative evaluation that gives evidence of teaching competencies. Career- technical teachers would be eligible for a second one (1) year contract if they have maintained a “C” or better grade and are in good standing with the Ohio Required CT Teacher Educator Program.
