Video Cameras. The Employer may not use video cameras to discipline or discharge an employee for reasons other than theft of property or physical violence. If the information on the video tape is to be used to discipline or discharge an employee, the Employer must provide the Local Union, prior to the hearing, an opportunity to review the video tape used by the Employer to support the discipline or discharge. The Employer shall not install or use video cameras in areas of the Employer’s premises that violate the employee’s right to privacy such as in bathrooms or places where employees change clothing or provide drug or alcohol testing specimens.
Video Cameras. The District will not install video cameras for the general purpose of evaluating or monitoring employee performance, but rather to record vandalism, theft, destruction or misuse of District property, or unsafe actions on District property. Employees will be notified of the locations of such cameras upon request.

D. Viewing of recorded images shall be limited to the program area instructor, Xxxx of Students, and administration. Under no circumstances, except those determined by the Superintendent or his designee, should students or other individuals view recorded images. E. The Administration will make every reasonable effort to notify a teacher, prior to viewing, when there is a need to view recorded images. The teacher in question will be notified of the intended viewing time and place, and will be permitted to be present at this viewing. F. Any use of recorded images that involves evaluations will be in compliance with Section 12.2-I.

Video Cameras. Audio or surveillance equipment is installed for safety and security purposes. While it may be used to supplement personal observation, it is not intended to displace or supplant personal observations for evaluation purposes. In the event products of this equipment are used to support disciplinary action, it shall be subject to the grievance procedure and the provisions outlined in Article 21.
