Opening Listing. A list of all known vacant positions for the succeeding school year for certificated personnel shall be maintained in the Human Resources Department. This list shall be kept current as openings become known. The list shall also be available to employees upon request. As vacancies occur, they shall be posted in a conspicuous place in each school building, and on the DUSD website, with deadline dates for making application. The deadline dates shall not be less than five (5) working days after the date of posting. No assignment shall be filled or committed until after the close date. Copies of all postings shall be sent to the President of the Dublin Teachers Association, either in person or by certified mail. Improper postings must be brought to the attention of the Assistant Superintendent/Human Resources prior to the closing date as shown on the posting. If a position has been improperly posted, it shall be re-posted.
